Iranian forces based in Syria launched a large-scale attack on Israel and fired approximately 20 rockets toward Israeli IDF positions in the Golan Heights, the Israeli military said late Wednesday night.

Israeli Iron Dome intercepted several of them and reported that there were no casualties in the attack.

Syria claims that Israel struck their Military outposts near Damascus on Tuesday. Tensions between Israel and Iran are on super high levels due to Iran’s military presence in Syria.

President Bashar has always been a strong ally to Iran, and since Syria is so strategically close to Israel this facilitates Iran’s launching missile attacks on Israel.

It doesn’t take much to antagonize Iran, their claims that Israel killed Iranian fighters in their airstrikes, hotly justifies their reprisal rocket attacks.

Israel views this Iranian attack very severely as it should. The situation with Iran is not only unstable for Israel, this is a very serious problem for America and the rest of the world.

Adding fuel to the fire, is President Donald Trump’s announcement on Tuesday that the U.S. will withdraw from the 2015 nuclear deal with Iran. This has undoubtedly triggered threats to spark more unrest in the Middle East.
